Prepare the substrate

Remove weak material, laitance, dust, oil and contaminants. Create clean, stable edges and a sound mechanical key using an appropriate preparation method.

Prime as specified

Use the compatible Boydur MMA primer when required. Observe the current product instructions, coverage and overcoating condition.

Combine the premeasured set

Condition and mix the supplied components exactly as stated in the current TDS and on the packaging. Do not improvise component ratios or divide sets without an approved method.

Place, compact and finish

Apply within the available working time, compact thoroughly and finish to the required profile and minimum specified thickness.
06

Protect and reopen

Protect the area from traffic and contamination until adequately cured. Confirm reopening according to temperature, site conditions and the current technical guidance.

How quickly is Boydur M12 traffic-ready?At 20°C, Boydur M12 is typically traffic-ready in approximately 60 minutes. Actual working and curing times vary with material, substrate and ambient temperature and with site conditions.
What is the application temperature range?The stated application range is −10°C to +40°C. Temperature directly affects reaction speed, working time and curing, so the current TDS must be followed.
What is the minimum topping thickness?Boydur M12 is intended for floor topping from a minimum thickness of 5 mm. Repair and anchoring geometries require project-specific evaluation.
What are the principal mechanical values?Typical values include compressive strength of approximately 34 N/mm², flexural strength of approximately 25 N/mm², E-Modulus of approximately 4,350 N/mm² and Shore D hardness of 75–80.
How is Boydur M12 supplied?It is supplied as an 18 kg two-component set configured as 3 kg plus 15 kg. Mix and use the premeasured components according to the current TDS and packaging instructions.
What is the shelf life?The stated shelf life is 6 months in original unopened packaging under the prescribed storage conditions. Always check the product label, batch date and current TDS.
Can the system be divided into smaller batches?Do not divide or alter component ratios unless an approved weighing and mixing procedure has been provided. Incorrect ratios can compromise curing and performance.
